Christmas in Star Valley!

Lella is pretty close to walking so we bought her this toy that she can push and walk with. She loves it!

I was so excited this year to give Tyrell his gifts. The big one I gave him was a new 40 cal hand gun. He had no idea he was getting it. He normally finds out ever year what he is getting but this year I made sure that it would be a surprise. Oh he loves it. I did good this year. It turned out to be a great Christmas!

This kids put on the nativity Christmas eve and Lella was the sheep. It was very funny when she came crawling out with the mask on. She has always been good with leaving things on her head. It was a very fun night with Tyrell's family in star valley.

We celebrated our anniversary this month on the 19th. Tyrell and I went out together by ourselves for the first time since Lella was born. We had a great time being together just the two of us. This is what Ty made me to go by the side of of our log bed he made. We will have matching lamp shades when we find the right ones. He did a great job!

Lella will be 8 months old on Christmas Day. We can't believe how much she is getting around. She has been crawling for about a month and a half now. And now is pulling herself up on everything. We normally eat most of our meals on the couch and now we cant without her crabbing everything off our plates. I guess it is time to start eating around the table like we should of been all a long.

Last weekend Lella and I went down to Roy to visit my Mom and Dad. It was good to go spend the night and let Lella get to know her grandparents a little more. Saturday morning we met up with some of my friends from high school and had a little shower for Angie who is due to have a baby in about a month. It was good to see them and tell Angie things she might experience having a baby. We sure had a good weekend!

Lella's first Christmas Tree!!

The same weekend as Thanksgiving it is a tradition of ours to go to Star valley and cut down a Christmas tree with Tyrell's family. This year was extra special because we have our little girl to share the fun with. She was such a good sport, like always and enjoyed getting all bundled up and going out in the cold.

I found our tree clear up on this hill. Tyrell made me make sure that it was the one before he hiked up there to get it. You can't just settle for a tree that is close to the road because they are never good. If you want a good one you have to be willing to go hike for it. which is the fun of it. Plus I just think how it is giving my legs a good workout!

This is the result of our searching this year! I love having the tree up and everything decorated because of the feeling it brings into our home. I put everything up as soon as I can so that I can enjoy it as long as possible.

Thanksgiving 2011

Thanksgiving was great this year! We all went up to Preston Idaho to celebrate. Travis, my brother in-law was on call with his job so he wasn't able to leave, so we went to them. They reserved the church and had everything there. Later that evening we went over to the High School and played dodge ball in the big wrestling room and hide and go seek in the gym. We had a lot of fun this year, thanks to the Despains. They put in a lot of time and work to make it so we had fun and it paid off! Thanks so much you guys.
This year I wanted to attempt to make pies. The one I'm holding was a pumpkin cheese cake. I made two of those. I would have to say it was mighty yummy! I also made two banana cream and one chocolate. It was a lot of fun but took time. We will see If I do it again next year. Hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving like we did!

Trick or Treat!!

Surprisingly she didn't mind wearing this. She kept it on pretty much the whole time.

Ty's friend said that if Lella came to his house trick or treating then he would give her candy but she had to come by herself so we put her in her seat and put her on his door step, rang the door bell and ran around there house. It was about her bed time so she sat quite and very chill which made it even more funny! They were sure glad to see her.

One night after work I took Lella out next to our house to see if I could get some pictures before all the leaves are gone. This is how it turned out. I should of known. Lella could not stop playing with the leaves around her so I couldn't get her to look up at me. I got one picture out of like the fifteen I took. Hey I'm thankful I got one.

Yummy baking!

Lately Sundays are my only day that I can bake anything. This last time making bread has to be my best bread yet! I think I'm getting better every time. Last time I made it Tyrell went through 3 loaves in less than 2 weeks. I'm finally figuring out how to make it so it's not so hard. Plus having a kitchen aid really helps out a lot. And these cinnamon rolls I have made probably 4 times in the last 2 months. I better be careful my neighbors are going to start expecting them. They are so easy! I tend to over do it with making the same thing to many times. I find a recipe that I like and is simple and I always want to make it. Ty doesn't complain at least I'm baking things for him.

Wow! Can't believe our little girl is already six months. Where has the time gone. She is starting to get very moble. She is going to be crawling here soon. She is so fun to be around, wish i didn't have to work. The time I do get to spend with is so great! They're is nothing more important than your family!

And we have our crazy times here at home. When mom comes home Lella knows it's time to play!

She's still poopin a lot which always comes at the wrong time.

She has started eating real food. It took her a while to get it down but she's a pro now!

Lella loves hanging out with dad all day while moms at work. She has been so good for him while he does his homework.

I chopped my hair off! A whole 14 inches. It has been a fun I needed a good change.
Sorry that my face looks funny I just had some work done on my mouth and I was pretty swollen so I couldn't smile.

Doctor said she looks great! We did have a scare a week ago. Lella got a really high fever and we had to take her to the hospital. They ended up doing a bunch of tests on her. Poor girl had a real rough night. They were trying to get an IV from her, tried to get a vein in her head twice, not being able to get any blood so finally found one in her hand. It was so sad, I was pretty emotional. She has been on a antibiotic so that has help a lot. It's been good to have our little girl back. It's not fun when she isn't feeling good.

This is Lella's cute outfit she wore on the 4th. Friday night we went over to Jeff's house for a bbq then headed up to the fireworks at the stadium. We were able to watch and listen to Diamond Rio. That happens to be one our favorite country bands. It was so good and we had the best seats. Lella slept through the whole firework show. She is such a good sleeper, it's crazy! Saturday Jessica had a little birthday party at her house then we headed over to the cruzin. It's a parade that Logan has every year with tons of old cars. We look forward to it every year. I think we are going to make it a tradition to come back for. It was a full weekend of lots of fun but we were sure exhausted by the end.

I took Lella swimming the other day when I got off early from work. Lella looked so cute in her little swim suit. She loves the water, hopefully it stays that way. Oh I have to announce this because it is the most exciting thing for us lately. Lella is sleeping through the night. Yippy!

Tyrell likes to get his little girl ready and dressed for the day. He brought her out of the room with these cute shoes on that are way to BIG! I told him that they didn't fit but he said he didn't care he thought they looked cute anyway. They didn't last very long on her feet. After that he took her downstairs with him to watch some baseball. Her feet look huge in this picture I thought it was cute:)

Our friend Alex Perry came up when Lella was only 2 weeks old and took some really cute pictures. She did an awesome job. It's crazy how much she has changed already. She is getting so big. She now only gets up once in the middle of the night. And is eating really good. We couldn't ask for a better baby.

Lella's Blessing Day!

Last Sunday we blessed our little girl Lella. For some reason lots of our ward members were gone so our family literally took up half the chapel. All of Tyrell's family came from Star Valley and all my family that live close enough to drive here came. It was a very good day. The weather was warm and the food was great! Lella is getting so big I can't believe that she is already 6 weeks old!

Lella is so funny when we give her a bath. She isn't like other babies that cry when you put them in the water. Every time we put her in there she gives a look like Ah.. this feels so good! She gets so relaxed and warm that she has to pee in the water every time. She is so fun and such a good baby. We have had about 3 nights that I have only had to get up once with her to feed. The only time she cries is when she is hungry. She makes it very easy to be parents. Hopefully it stays that way since I am returning to work full time next week.

We went to Lella's two week check up on Monday. She is now 7 lbs. 3oz. and has grown 1 1/4'' already. The doctor said that she is doing great and is perfect! She has got some chunky cheeks. I think she will fill out here pretty fast by the way she eats.

She sure likes her sleep at night. Instead of struggling to get her to sleep at night, its the opposite. I struggle getting her to wake up to eat. She will eat for about 5 min and then she's out. Its an ongoing process during the night. I wake up 2 times a night to feed her. We had one great night where I fed her at 10:30 that night then she woke up at 3:45 and then didn't wake up till 7:30 that morning. Hopefully we have more nights like that to come. The doctor said that she is getting enough food during the day so if she wants to sleep through the night then just let her.
It is so fun having her in our home!

Lella has had lots a visitors. We have had people in out of our house every day. Its really nice to have the support and love from family and friends. Thank you every one that has brought meals and gifts by. We are really blessed to have great people in our lives. And to have this beautiful girl come into our home. We couldn't ask for a better baby!
This is Tyrell's best friends little boy that is 5 months old. He makes Lella look really tiny!
I think these kids were the most excited to see little Lella! They just couldn't wait to come visit and hold her. I'm going to have some good babysitters when she gets a little older.

This is me as we are walking out the door to go to the hospital. I'm not looking to good. I was in pretty bad pain. But excited that our little girl would be with us soon!

When she came out her legs were just like this, straight up in the air. She is such a funny girl. She still does this when we have her legs not covered up. She loves to stretch out.
Ty didn't get much sleep while we were at the hospital. The last night we were there he went home that night and slept. He had class that he had to go to so he wanted to get at least one good night.

4TH OF JULY WEEKEND!

We watch our neighbors 2 kids quite often. He is a single dad and a police officer in Logan. So when he works we watch his kids. We have been doing this since last October. It actually has worked out really good. They are good kids. Well this is one of them, Jessica. Saturday was here eighth birthday. I got up early and made her a cake. I didn't really know what I was doing so I just did my best. It actually turned out a lot better than I thought it would.

This is why we look forward to the 4th, is the CRUISE IN. For all you that aren't from around Logan area. The cruise in is held every 4th of July. Really old, and some new cars come from all around for this car show. It lasts 3 days normally and at the end is a big parade that is held on main st. The cars drive up and down the street about 5 times so that everyone can get a good look at them. Tyrell and I really like that kind of thing. Ty's favorite is looking at all the Chevelle's sense he has one of his own. By the way he brought it home so we can drive it around all summer. It's been fun to have.
These are some really good friends of ours. Tyler and Lacey. We love hanging out with them!

We got up early Monday morning and headed up Logan canyon to the wind caves. It was almost a 4 mile hike there and back. Perfect for me! It was a pretty cool view.

So sense it has been so long since I have posted I thought that I would let everyone know whats going on in our lives.
We still live in Logan going on our 2nd year here. Crazy how time goes by so fast! Ty is in his second year of civil engineering and this semester is the hardest one yet! Poor boy spends all his time up at the school. But he will get through it!
I'm still working at Logan Physical Therapy. I can honestly say that I have never been able to say that I love my job until now. I really lucked out getting it.
Our neighbor right next door is a single dad that has recently recieved full custody of his kids. He is a police officer for Logan. So the days that he works we watch his kids. Its been really good for us and for him. We have really enjoyed having his kids around.
Life is good!

Ice Skating in the Park!

So the night started out with the boys getting a little energy out of there systems with a very serious wrestling match. Ty wanted to make sure that I added to notice how and it started, Ty getting the groove of things and letting adam his best friend feel really good about himself. That it didn't last very long. Before you know it Adam is stuck and can't move. You go babe! Adam is such a sissy boy:)

The night continued on with us going ice skating in the park! It's pretty sweet with the view of the temple all lit up. Thanks to Ty's mother we have our own ice skates so it becomes a very cheap date. After, we went and ate at chili's with some other friends that couldn't ice skate because she was very pregnant. We went back and played games till late hours of the night. Thanks friends for making that one of the best weekends we have had in a while!

We ran in to some friends from the ward that night. They are such great people. It seems like we run into them all the time now.

Some of us got a little tired walking around in the snow so they decided to go on a little ride while searching for a perfect Christmas tree!

And this is the beauty we got this year! I didnt realize how tiny it was until we stood it up with everyone else's, it looked like a charlie brown tree! But now that it is up and lookin good in our little condo it is perfect!

This last weekend we had such a great time. We headed to Star Valley to visit the fam. Passing through Preston we decided to stop and say hi to the Despains. We thought it would be fun to have the cutest girls come tag along with us for the weekend. We had so much fun! My pour mother in-law spent the whole Saturday keeping us happy. She is so great! Ty also got a lot done. Saturday morning he went duck hunting and shot 5 ducks. While we were in the house all day doing crafts, Ty was outside making these spiders for holloween that I have been wanting for a while now. His dad made one for his mom last year and ever since then I have wanted one. I didn't even have to ask. He is such a great guy! We sure had a great weekend.

Dang my husband is good lookin!

While they were pulling the elk down the mountain, they stumbled across moose sheds. They were together as a pair. That doesnt happen very often. That is what is on top of the elk just in case you were wondering.

While I was in Iowa this last weekend visiting the hansen's, Ty decided to go up to Star Valley and go with his brother to get his elk. They shot their elk but not realizing it until it was to late, the area that they shot it was some pretty steep country. They new that I was going to be a chore to get that elk out. They ended up having to go back the next morning to get it out because they wouldn't of been able to before dark. This time they brought help along. What they had to is hike down there and completely cut the meat off the bones and put it in sacks and pack it out in there back packs. Ty's pack I believe was 56 pounds, Darnell's was 64 and there friend Ryan's was 69. They sure had a lot of meat on there backs. I'm glad that my husband had such a great time. He always has a good time when he gets to hang out with his older brother. I'm excited to be able to have some of that meat cause we sure like elk in our house.

Grand Canyon Trip!

A couple weekends ago we went on our summer vacation. Some might not think this is much of a vacation, hiking your guts out for 2 days and sweating like pigs. But we loved it! About five years ago I lived here on the North end of the Grand Canyon being a waitress to all the tourists. It was probably the best thing I could of done in my single life. While I was there I hiked the 25 mile trail from the north rim to the south rim in one day and ever since then I have wanted to do it again. My Husband was all for it! I have no clue how the heck I did it in one day. We did it camping in the bottom for a night and we stilled died! I must be fat and old. This pictue is taken the morning right before we started down the canyon. Oh man if only we new what we were getting ourselves into! Just kidding it was well worth it. We had a great time!

These trees were every where down in the canyon. Ty thought that they were just awesome! He called them the banana trees. They look like they had bananas growing at the bottom of them. Every time he saw one he would say.. Hey guys look a banana tree! I probably heard that saying about a million times by the time the hike was over. It got real old real fast.

This was Ribbon Falls. Its was this waterfall that fell down right on the edge of this huge rock. It doesnt look like there is much water falling from it, but when you get to the top and are standing under it, it hits you pretty hard. This was probably the high light of the hike. We drenched and got to cool off.

This is our friends Adam and Alisha that went with us. Ty and Adam have been friends since they have been about 3 years old. They even share the same Birthday. We had such a good time with them. We couldn't of ask for a better couple to do this with. Thanks GuysThis was the night before the hike. We camped out in the woods so that we didn't have to pay to stay in a hotel. I took everyone out to a place that we used to go to when I lived here. It's called Buck Point. Its awesome for watching to sunset. It over looks so much land covered in trees. It was so pretty.

This is Kynzie's dad on the air chair. He was so fun to watch cause he was so good. He would just ride it like it was nothing. He even did a back flip on it. It was Awesome!

Well this me trying to attempt to get up, for some stickin reason I couldn't. Kinda frustrating.

My friend Kynzie and her family let Ty and I go along with them boating on friday night. We were pretty excited sense we hadn't been once this whole summer. She has a super cool family that were really nice to let us come a long. Ty got to try the air chair. He said that he had always wanted to see and try one. Well this was his moment. He said it was harder than he thought but he got up on it his first try.

Rodeo night Fun!

This was kinda funny. After the wild cow milking, there was this one cow that no matter what, they couldn't get it out of the arena. This was pretty funny, the cow laid down and wouldn't move, the guys were trying get it up and to roll over,but it wouldn't budge.

I was proud of myself for taking this picture. I thought it was a pretty cool one.

Ty actually did this event. They tied a ribbon on a bull's horns and who ever could get it off won 300 bones. We were hoping that we would get it but we didn't. Better luck next time.

Happy Birthday Dru! We went out to the depains for Dru's Birthday. Betsy made a sweet volcano cake. She is such a good mom! Mom and Dad came out and we went to the Preston Bull Fananza. Ty sure enjoyed it because thats the only reason why he likes to go to rodeo's is to see the bull riding. We sure had a fun night.

Ty got his 72 Chevelle out Friday night to go for a spin. His brother that has a 71 decided to come along with his family. We went up to afton to the red baron to get some grub.

I love riding in his car, we have a lot of fun! Can't wait till someday we can afford to put more money into it.

How handsome are they? I'm diggin the one on the left. Adams mom bought suits for them instead of getting tuxes. We were pretty excited sense Ty is still wearing his suits from his mission.

Ty's best friend got married this weekend in the Idaho Falls Temple. It's about time! We are so excited for them to be married cause they are the funnest couple. And they will only be living in roy down the street from where we first lived when we were married. Hopefully we will be seeing a lot of them. We had a great day! And we are sure glad that we got to spend it with them.

Star Valley

Friday night when we got up there we had dutch oven chicken and potatos. Yum Yum! Then we went out to try to catch some fish. I didn't have much luck. I thought I did but it ended up being a rock! Dang. It was pretty funny cause I was freaking out rubbing it in Ty's face.

This is a flour that Ty found on the way up the mountain, it was growing out of the snow that was still up there. It was the only one in the whole area. Crazy!

We thought we would make it a little easier on the way down. Plus were pretty hot! It felt good.

We went to Star Valley last weekend and went camping. Ty's sister was here from Virgina so we went up to see her. Saturday morning we woke up and had a yummy breakfast. Ty and Darnell were planning on hiking up Prater Mountain which is the highest peak in the valley. Ty's dad also went, but wasn't going to go the whole way. When we left I thought I would just stay and wait at the bottom with him cause I wasn't really feelin it! Hiking is fun but not that fun. Well we got to where his dad stopped and I just decided to go for it. I figured I would probably not have the opportunity to do it again. Well it was just like I thought, it was the probably the hardest hike I have ever been on. But when we got to the top it was well worth it. It was beautiful!!

Camping Weekend!

Well I thought sense the rest of our summer weekends were going to be filled up with things that are going on, I really wanted to go camping again just in case we didn't get to. We thought we would bring some squirts along with us. We drove up Logan canyon towards Tony Grove and found an awesome camp spot. We had a awesome weekend full of fun!

Dru and Kerri got really good at shooting the sling shot! They practiced all weekend.

Our friends came up that night to have some smores and sit around the camp fire. We love having them around.

The next morning we went on a hike. It was a lot longer of a hike than we thought it would be. The hike all together was 8 miles. The girls did great! And how cute is that? Ty is going to be the best dad some day!

Took a little brake for a bit to rub some feet that were hurting!

This is our destination, White Pine Lake. We had lunch, fished a little and the girls got a little muddy. But we had fun and was relaxing.

Ty got his fishing line stuck in the tree and wasn't about to lose a new spinner, so he climbed up this crapy tree and got it down. He found Two other bobbers while he was at it!

We are leaving for our way home. Dru thought she would wave and say good bye to our caming spot. Thanks Despain girls for coming camping with us for the weekend we had a blast with you!

The 4th of July!

Friday night we all got together in Preston. Joe and Megan were here from Denver to visit. It was really good to see them. Megan is prego and I can't wait for them to have there babe. We love getting together with the family.

That morning while everyone was sleeping Betsy and I got up really early and ran the 5k and 10k in Lewiston. I have been running a lot for the last month, thinking that I would like to run the top of Utah Marathon here in Logan in September. But I don't know what I think now. I am for sure not a runner. There was a big hill in that 10k and it about killed me. I guess we will see I still have a lot of time to prepare for it. This is us being dumb and stretching for our big run!

Our friends baby, that I might say is so dang cute!, fell asleep on my legs when I was sitting on the curb of the street. I think we were getting more attention from people, then the cars that were in the parade were. We even had an old lady come over and take a picture of her. It was Hilarious!

The night of the 4th we met up with our friends and went to the cruise in on main st in logan. People come from all over to show off there cars. I would have to say that it was probably the best parade that I have ever been to. We had a great time!

After the parade we went over to Bre and Clarke's house for so yummy food and a firework show. It was pretty much amazing! We had a pretty great 4th of July!

This was so Awesome! I have never seen this happen at a derby before. This green car was just awesome he was just killing everyone. He got going full speed and hit this other car and rolled it! The green car was stuck on top of him so they both had to pull there flags. It was well worth watching in the cold.

So Ty called me at work on friday and asked if I wanted to go to the derby on Saturday night. I said heck yes I do! Well he went on to say that I had to go pick up the tickets cause he won them off the radio. We were pretty excited, we never win anything! It was a great night mostly cause It was free!

So I have been telling Ty for a while now that it is time to cut his hair. It was just getting a little out of control. He kept telling me, no Whit I'm not ready yet. So I just stopped mentioning it to him. Well out of know where on saturday he asked me if i would cut it for him. I didnt think he was serious. Oh but he was, and dang does he look good! Can you flippen believe how much hair this kid had on his head? Maybe now he will get the weight that he wants to be when we go donate plasma:)

Tyrell's friends wife Alex Perry is starting up her photography business and wanted to take some pictures of us. Granite Hot Springs

A couple weeks ago we went to Star Valley to go snow mobiling. We went up to Granite Hot Springs and went swimming. We had a good time with all the cousins. I would have to say that it was probably the best sledding trip I have ever been on. It was a long day of fun in the sun!

Life has been so crazy lately!Even my husband complains that I'm never home to make him dinner anymore. Pitty Him!! But the real reason is because we haven't had the internet at our house. The other night I had been gone all day. Tyrell decided that he wanted to make dinner. He texted me and asked me if I was very hungry. I replied saying that I could eat just to satisfy myself meaning that I wasn't very hungry but I could eat a little. Well I came home and this is what he had on the grill outside. It was really good but we probably could of just shared one. I was just thankful that my husband was wanting to make dinner.

Bread making time!

So a couple weeks ago I was down at my Mom and Dad's house visiting and my mother who is a wonderful cook taught me how to make bread. Well in our house hold we like bread and we eat a lot of it. So that bread didnt last very long. So I decided to attempt to make it all by myself and this is how it turned out!! I was pretty proud of myself, it turned out better than I thought it would. So now I consider myself pretty much a professional!!

Holloween Time!!

So this year was the same as every year. I am a slacker until the last minute on getting a costume. Except this time its worse because I have a husband that is even more of a slacker! I kept saying Ty what are we going to be for holloween and I got the same response everytime.. I dont know you figure it out. How about nothing. Every year that I dont dress up I regret it so bad. Well we got invited to like 3 parties and ended up not going to any of them because I thought we would feel dumb not having a costume. So Tyrell and I went to Pizza Hut to get a Pazone, which was a joke because we ended up waiting there for like 35 min. Well we went home and were just going to spend the night hanging out with each other kinda lame I know, until I started to dress up and put layers of my clothing on like I used to in High School. Then I got Ty to join in the fun. We got a little crazy!! We ended up going out to Betsy and Trav's house and suprising them. I got Betsy to join in the fun!! It ended up being a great holloween thanks to the Despain family.

Tyrell and I went up on the mountains of Logan to get some pictures with the leaves before they got all ugly. They still dont look the greatest but I guess they will do. I'm happy with the way Ty looks but not to happy with the way I look. I hate getting pictures done!

So this is a little late getting on the blog. Our internet isn't the best so most the time it wont let me upload the images. Anyway so I am finally getting to it. This is from a few weeks ago but Tyrell has had to go the games with out me because I have been working on saturdays. Buy thank goodness not anymore. This game Utah State played BYU. I had t0 work that night but got done a lot earlier than I thought, so I was able to show up at half time. It actually turned out to be a really good game. Soon as I got there Utah State was playing a totally different game. They actually held up there own real well. I like to say that the reason they started to play good was because I arrived at the game!

Whoever lived here before us did the bathroom floor with tile. Well this might be alright to all of you that DON'T do flooring. But as I worked with Darnell he made me very particular about how the floor looks when you're sitting on the pot. Every time I sit on the pot I have to look at this floor and it just makes me sick. They did a good job on the first row of tile but this second row they did a terrible job. Look at how far off they were. I don't know what they thought they were doing but they didn't do a very good job.

Well we did it, we got us a truck! That is the excitment going on around his place. The registration was almost up on the durango and we would of had to do it here in utah now that Ty is a resident. We wanted a truck anyway so that Tyrell could do carpet or do any other side jobs when he wants. We got a pretty good deal on it. I haven't seen Ty get this gitty in a long time. The weather is still warm here so I am still driving our little scooter around town saving money. The truck most of the time just sits there but thats ok the gas for it is still way to high.

Every tuesday and thursday Tyrell and babysit the Despain kids in the morning while Betsy goes to school. Lately I have been trying to do fun things with them. Last tuesday we went and collected rocks down by the river behind our house and made these rock bugs. It was a little messy but we had a lot of fun.

Yesterday as I was looking through the newspaper which I have doing a lot of lately sense we don't have T.V anymore, I discovered an add from Michaels crafts. So with some spare time I had I decided to be a little crafty and make something for our front door. It was lots of fun and only took me about 30 min. I was pretty proud of myself.

Last saturday Tyrell and I went for a little morning drive up logan canyon. It was really pretty and fun to see that the leaves on the trees are started to change color. Right by the side of the road we saw this moose so we stopped to look at it. Ty was making these weird noises so that it would come closer to us. I was afraid that it would run right in the road as a car came, thankfully it didnt. That day we had a lot of fun just hanging out with each other.

The last weekend of August we went back to Star Valley for Ty's buddies weddding. It was really nice. It was outside in Clancy's moms backyard. His bride Natalie looked beautiful. It was a fun time for Tyrell because he was able to see his buddies that he played basketball with in High School. I dont when the next time that will happen.

Well Tyrell's birthday was last month. He didnt want to do anything special but I thought why not have fun with other people. I invited the Despain family over. They brought with them these huge squash and Zuccini. We carved into them like boats and had plastic soldier guys they put on them. We took them over to the logan river. As you can see they didnt float quite how we wanted them to, but it was still dang fun. I had a picture of Ty opening all his gifts but for reason it wouldnt let me put it on the blog sorry! I got Tyrell a poker set, so all night we ended playing texas hold-em. I hope that he had a fun birthday.

I had to say my good byes to everyone at R & L. It was a sad day. If you would of asked if I was sad to leave like 5 month previous I would said Heck No!! There was just one specific lady that I didnt get along with. But other than that I was very sad go. I made some very good friends while I was there and had a great boss. They sure did make me feel special on my last day at work. I had a lot more pictures to go along with this but the card that all my pictures were on broke and erased all of them. I seriously felt like crying.

For all of you that dont know what the Widowmaker is. Its the motor bike hill climbs. Its held in a town near Morgan. They have this huge hill the bikes try to make over. Most dont make it But we did see one that did. They are pretty fun to watch. My boss gave us tickets, that made it even better. The bad thing is that we were sitting directly in the sun for four hours with no sunscrean. Um.. We got a little crispy!

One of my best buds got married on the 12th of June. It was really nice to go up to Rexburg, go through the temple and be with her that day She was so beautiful. I also got to see a bunch of beauty school friends that I havent seen in a long time. Its crazy how long ago we were in school. To tell you the truth I would never want to go back.

Last weekend we had the opportunity to attend a wedding in the salt lake temple. Friends of ours Katherine and Ryan Walker got married. I was scared that the day wouldnt be the greatest because of the night before but it seriously was the most perfect day to get married. It was so beautiful. The wedding was also very good. The spirit was so strong in the room. I hope I have the chance to attend a lot more weddings in the temple in the future. Ty and I decided to ditch all the picture taking and go take some of our own. We had a lot of fun doing it.

The other night a bunch of us girls got together to celebrate Christine getting married. We all went to roosters to eat and ended up at Natalie Bouy's house a couple of the girls spent the night but we were getting up the next morning to go to a wedding to I wasnt able to. I sure stayed up late though it probably was the latest I have stayed up sense we have been married. I'm not the night owl like I used to be. There really isnt a point anymore.

Betsy and Trav gave us free tickets to the blaze game the other night. They weren't the best tickets in the world, but that sure didnt stop us from having a good time. At half time Ty was determined to sneak down to the lower bowl and get better seats. So thats just what we did and we didnt even get caught. Joe and his friend came along so that even made it a lot more fun! The night was great until we walked out to get in our car. Then it was down hill from there.

Hiking up Waterfall Canyon

A couple weeks ago Ty and I went and hiked up Waterfall Canyon. This time we parked and started a lot closer so that we could actually make it up the canyon instead of hiking all day long like last time. It was a great time expecially because when we got up there we were the only ones up there so that made it really nice. Ty hike up on top of this big rock and yelled at me to come up also so we could take some pictures it was pretty cool up there but also really high up. That was a good way to start off the day.

Last Saturday sense it was such a nice day we decided to go hiking. We really didnt know where to go so we just went and found some trails up on the mountain in south ogden. As we were walking a long the trail we looked up and saw this big huge boulder rolling down the mountain. Ty and I ran up there as fast as we could and got in front of it before it rolled down and smashed the whole town. We're pretty much AMAZING!!

Tyrell thought he would show a little leg while walking a long the trail. Before we left the house that morning we were debating whether or not we should dress cooler just in case we got hot during our hike. But we figured wearing pants would be better because It was so windy that day. Um.. yeah we wished we would of stayed in our shorts and capri's. We were so dang Hot!! But we sure did have a fun.

Two weeks ago Tyrell and I went up to star valley sense we figured it would be the last time that we could go snow mobiling this winter. Oh man we were so glad that we did. We seriously chose the best day to go. It was beautiful all day long. We had our friends Flud and Alisha come a long and we just had a blast together. We went home that weekend with a little more color on our faces then what we had when we went.

Last Saturday we drove up to Logan for the day. We went swimming at the College with Travis, Betsy, and the Kids. We had such a great time swimming with Kaleb, Dru, and Keri. All three are great swimmers!! Afterwards we were driving down the road and the sun was shining through the clouds right on the temple. It was beautiful so we stopped to take a picture.

We went snowmobiling a couple weeks ago. Andy Beutler came with us and even though it was a little snowy and the 800 lost a bearing we had a great time in the beautiful mountains.

This was last November when we went down to Las Vegas for the PBR World Finals. We spent a few days there with some friends and had a grand ol time.
